COVID-19 UPDATES

March 31, 2020:

Our hours have temporarily changed to 8:00 am to 1:00 pm for both Baxter and Crosby clinic locations. We are requesting people only enter our clinics if they have a scheduled appointment or an urgent eye issue.

Contact us at 218-546-5108 in Crosby or 218-825-1976 in Baxter for assistance or to arrange for optical needs. Patients coming for an appointment should come alone if at all possible or limit to one support person.


March 25, 2020:

At Great River Eye Clinic in response to COVID-19, in an effort to keep our community safe, limit the potential spread of disease, and conserve personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, etc.), we are modifying our clinic hours and rescheduling surgeries and clinic visits for non-urgent issues. We are following CDC, MN Department of Health, and American Academy of Ophthalmology guidelines.

Great River Eye Clinic is dedicated to patient healthcare, and the safety of our patients, and associates.

We are giving our team members facts about COVID-19 and reminding them to follow simple, but effective steps to keep them safe such as frequent handwashing.

Our associates are working diligently to take precautions and steps to ensure a clean and safe environment.

We are disinfecting our facilities and equipment as appropriate.

We have implemented wipe down sanitize procedures, sanitizing bathrooms, chairs, optical frames, and any surfaces that have patient, or associate direct contact. Informational posters are posted in break rooms and patient areas to keep everyone informed, and to keep safety top of mind.

We are encouraging our associates to take any signs of illness seriously and seek medical attention as needed.

We will provide masks, available for patients at the front desk that are sick. If you have a cough, or are feeling sick, please call our clinic to reschedule your appointment. If you show up at the clinic and are sick, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment to be seen in two to three weeks.
